A card-making event, where members of the Georgia Tech community wrote uplifting homemade cards and send them to hospitalized kids around the globe. Tables with construction paper and markers were set up right outside of the old Student Center at the Campanile. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to make a card and enjoy free food sponsored by Tiff's Treats and Chick-fil-a. During this project, we partnered with Cardz for Kidz, a national nonprofit organization that distributes cards for hospitalized kids across the country. This event took place during the Spring 2020 semester.
To spread positive messages to hospitalized kids in hopes of brightening their days and creating smiles. The cards were intended to bring a little extra joy to the child's day.
